Since graduating with honors from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Sound Design in June 2022, I am eager to start my professional career. During my studies at SCAD, I learned the production process of various media with experience working on animation, live-action films, augmented reality experiences, and advertising projects.

 

Ever since I was 12 years old, my love of sound and music has been a major aspect of my identity and daily life. I remember thinking it was incredible how much different types of sound could impact my mood, and my curiosity quickly became a lifetime pursuit.

 

At SCAD, I was finally able to let myself discover how professionals could create that emotion by editing sound to allow memories to be imprinted on the audience. It feels like a superpower to my younger self how you can suddenly transform an ordinary visual into an entirely different experience by manipulating sound.
